This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive resort, the Haven Riviera Cancun. After this amazing friend’s trip, I might be very spoiled from here on out. This resort was an adult only resort with an amazing spa. For this trip we choose to upgrade to their Serenity Club. This way we could enjoy a swim out suite with a beach front view. With this we had amazing premium amenities. For example, we were greeted at a private check-in lounge with champagne.

Next, we were escorted to our rooms by our very own butler that we had on hand for our entire stay. Now granted I have never had a butler before. And I probably did not utilize him in all the best ways possible. But that is fine with us because I did not know what to do with him. With the Serenity Club we could enjoy 10% off any of our spa treatments. The best part was the daily access to the hydrotherapy areas, saunas, and steam rooms located in the My Senses Spa. At the time we were visiting we had to schedule our appointments out due to Covid rules.

Our rooms included aromatherapy menu, Haven signature toiletries, and a luxurious king bed with a pillow menu in you so desired. We also had a mini bar that was restocked every day that was included for no extra charge. When is the last time you got to say that? Some other fun amenities that we had access to was the Serenity Club Lounge. And a daily a la carte breakfast options at the Vistas Snack Bar overlooking the pool. And if you enjoy golf, you could have complimentary tee times at El Tinto Golf Course.
Where to eat?

The Haven Riviera Cancun has many restaurants and bars to choose from. So, no matter what your taste is you had plenty of choices to choose from. During our stay we made sure to make reservations every night so we could try out all the restaurants. If you were in a hurry during the morning, then going to Flavours is your first choice. They open at 7 am and offer a buffet so this way you have time to eat and then get on to your excursions for the day. Another great early start of your day if you’re just a coffee drinker and snacker is to try out Mocaccino. They serve up some great coffees, pastries, or even gelato. They open at 6am and even to 11pm if you need a pick me up later in the day.

There were many amazing upscale restaurants that you need to make sure that you have a reservation. One is for is Olios the Mediterranean fine dining. Or Satsu for some handmade sushi or just enjoy the Teppanyaki stations. If you love Italian food, Vora Mar is where it is at. Let’s not forget about Agua Bendita, they serve up Mexican cuisine or if you’re just looking for a classic steak.
Excursion Desk

One of my favorite aspects of the Haven Riviera Cancun was the fact that they had their very own excursion desk right on the premises. For us we chose only to do one excursion on this trip because really, we were there to unwind and hang out. We decided to head out on a catamaran that took us snorkeling and then headed over to Isla Mujeres. This was where we got to hang out on the beach. Because at the time of our visit because our resort had a lot of seaweed on the beaches. Apparently, the seaweed was out of control. But luckily this only happens every couple of years. And we were just the lucky ones to be there visiting at the perfect time.

Pool Side
If excursions aren’t your thing, then hanging out by the pools at the Haven Riviera Resorts is where it is at. They have three pools with two swim-up bars. Plenty of lounge chairs and some amazing cabanas to hang out all day by the pool. Do not forget about the fun big pink flamingos. You can jump on them in the pool, if that is your thing. You can also enjoy the beach concierge and pool side service. And if you want more privacy away from all the other guests make sure to book a room with a swim out suite so you can enjoy your own private pool.
Nightlife

Let’s not forget about the nightlife if you like to hang out and have fun after the sun goes down. The Haven has many different options depending on your personal tastes. If you love to watch shows, comedians, live bands, or performance arts, then Moons is the lounge setting for you. And they have different dance themes if you love to dance the night away. Limes is great If you prefer a more laid-back environment where you can try out different international or local beers. The Docks Pool Bar has a DJ where you can enjoy some tropical drinks and fresh air to lounge around after dark.

If you are looking to propose the Haven has a package to make the moment memorial. They have great packages for weddings. Group Trip
Group trips can be daunting. But one way to take off some of that pressure is to stay at an all-inclusive resort. Everyone has their own rooms, and nobody has to fight over the master bedroom. The fact that you don’t have to leave or figure out where to eat is phenomenal. Because the resorts have so many great options right there on the premises. When eating out or drinking at the resort, nobody has to feel obligated to share the costs or say hey it’s my turn for the bill.
